System Flow

June 14 to 20, 2026

The week started with a new moon, meaning time for planting new seeds, calling in new ideas and inspiration, and setting new intentions.  The chicks and turkeys arrived this week a day earlier than expected.  They’ll be indoors for quite a while as they need warmth, containment, and regular monitoring.  Additionally, there’s not enough room for them in the coop we currently have and we’ve yet to start building the next one, so they really have no other place to go.  I finished planting my trees, received some interesting information about how to deal with flow, and was inspired to write and record a script to help a family member.

I received some inspirations for marketing, but some of it felt a little too big for right now.  Sometimes the inspiration I get is much larger than what I know is possible in the moment, but I’m learning that this is how I work.  I dream big first and then learn to whittle that dream down to something more practical.  I do this with my art as well and I think that’s a good thing to keep in mind when receiving other kinds of inspiration.  It arrives with excitement and grandiose at first.  Over time, it shifts and shapes itself into what it feels like it should become.  There are often multiple iterations, adjustments, and recalibrations until it finally finds its way out and through me.

I also received a lot of insight on how to create flow within my life and business.  I was focused on attracting clients and money this week and knew I needed to be creative and practical, so I collected all of the messages that were coming in around flow.  I was seeing how the water flows into, through, and out of my house and how if there are any leaks or blockages, a fix is required.  I equated this to the flow of energy through my body and a how a similar fix is needed for leakages or blockages there. I also saw the connection of flow when test driving a vehicle and the transmission fluid leaked out due to a blown seal, teaching me that too much pressure without rigid boundaries can lead to disaster.  I connected this to the flow of blood through my body and how all of the systems within me play a part performing their specific functions to keep my whole machine running smoothly.  I was led to watch a movie based on Temple Grandin’s life and her approach to cattle transportation through slaughter houses, using her incredible autistic mind to calculate the best system possible.   I knew that all of this pointed to the same idea that having a healthy, functioning system with the right inputs and safe, healthy ways to expel the output, along with regular monitoring and maintenance leads to success.  So, I put this into practice when mapping out my future influx of clients and cash.

By doing some figuring out of schedules and money (things I practiced in my old life), I provided myself some options of what the future could look like and decided how each of those things felt.  As I did this, I literally felt the reality of this practice within my body as my circulation increased and my cheeks and ears became warm and red. By metaphorically playing out the circulation of people and funds in my business system, my physical system responded.  This is what embodiment is.  And the following day, my system responded again with increased energy and motivation to get a number of things done around the house and yard that had been sitting for some time.

I also planted the last of my free trees that I’d ordered.  This was a lesson in flow in a different way and links back to my inspirations being larger than the final outcome.  I’d originally asked for 3300 trees, knowing that this was a lot and I likely wouldn’t receive that many or be able to handle them.  I was approved for 1400, which was definitely more than enough.  I ended up planting around 1100, losing about 300 or more to seedlings that just weren’t going to produce.  The end result of how many will actually grow is still a guess as some that have been planted are already looking like they won’t make it.  So, the lesson I’m taking away from this is to ask big, receive what comes, and be grateful for all of it.  I know that even if many of the trees I planted don’t make it, I’ve put a lot of effort and energy into making the land I live on a better place and it will offer it’s own help in return.  I’ve already seen this in the past and I know that all of the rain we’ve received so far this spring is a gift in that way and there’s more scheduled.

This week, I received the following messages: palm reading, fox, pearl, cross-stitch, Gladiator, tuberculosis, Luna, voyeur, and bite out of a sandwich.

Palm reading – This message showed up through a conversation that happened during a chance encounter with an old friend when talking about her other line of work in entertainment.  It also appeared on an episode of a show where a new love interest was reading the main character’s palm.  I know very little about palm reading, but I understand there are different lines on your hand that can indicate things about your life and your fortune.  Maybe this is something I can look into in order to find out more about what is in store for me.

Fox – This message appeared in a movie I saw with a side character who showed up as type of maverick that helped play a part in the overall positive outcome of the story.  I saw an actual fox while hauling water this week.  It also showed up in a Facebook reel with my favorite fictional character Fox Mulder.  I know foxes are said to be sly and sneaky, but these messages feel more like they are about a good guy.  My son’s middle name is Fox and he’s a good guy and he’s graduating next week, so I think it could have something to do with him.

Pearl – This message popped up a few times in terms of a name.  It was the suggested name for an adorable animal in a comment on social media.  It was the name on the bag of oyster shells we purchased for our laying hens to help increase their calcium intake to help them produce stronger eggshells.  It also appeared as a name to a homeopathic tincture on a show.  I’m guessing that this message is less about a name and more about a hidden treasure that takes time to create and likely points towards the future I’m creating.  I can see how this might be leading me to believe that things that take time to build, one piece of sand at a time, are likely to turn out more valuable in the end than something that is slapped together quickly

Cross-stitch – This message arrived through a conversation in a podcast about a hobby that was picked up to find balance and slow down.  It also appeared on an episode of a show in which an elderly woman read a long quote she’d cross-stitched about how life is like a burning building.  I don’t cross-stitch and I’ve never really been interested in it, but I did teach myself to knit a long time ago.  I do find that it is comforting, relaxing, and mesmerizing in a way that feels therapeutic.  I have also found life to be like a burning building at times and I’ve learned how to cope with increased chaos and stress with a calm and steady demeanor.  Perhaps this message is pointing me to a coping mechanism for difficult times that keeps my hands and mind busy and produces a tangible result.  I do find that macrame and creating the art that I do helps me process things and express what words sometimes can’t, so that’s where I anticipate this message is pointing me.

Gladiator – A quote from the movie Gladiator popped into my head this week: “What we do in life, echoes in eternity.”  Later, on an episode of a show, the main character referenced a scene in Gladiator in which Russell Crowe is walking through a field of barley.  I can see the message here possibly being about being made to fight against your will with an opponent that seems impossible to beat and for the entertainment of others.  It feels a little dramatic, but being someone trying to bring more light, empowerment, and good to this world does feel like an impossible challenge at this time with the addiction to suffering, doom, and gloom that most people seem to find themselves trapped in.

Tuberculosis – This message appeared in a show investigating the unexplained death of Edgar Allan Poe.  His mother and wife both died of the disease and his strange last days also point to a probability of him contracting it, paired with a number of other unique details.  On another show, cows were being tested for a bovine version of tuberculosis.  Based on lumps found on their necks and a measuring scale devised by the government, it was determined whether they would live or die by the scores they received.  I don’t know much about TB, but that’s likely due to our modern-day vaccines and more sanitary practices due to an increase in knowledge.  In my very quick research, I discovered that there are two types; one that is active, and one that is latent and inactive until the immune system becomes weakened.  The message I’m guessing this is pointing to is to take care of your physical body and immune system.  Many things in this world can kill us, but the stronger we become internally (physically, mentally, and spiritually), the better chance we have at surviving.

Luna – This message showed up as a name twice.  The first was mentioned in a reel with a well-known whistle blower in the disclosure movement naming a person who was fed false information.  The second name referred to a fictional park on the moon in a cartoon.  The moon is linked to the tides of the Earth and the pull on our waters and this leads to the notion of people acting in strange ways during full moons.  There are statistics to support this and it is common for emergency rooms to have an increased influx of patients on these nights.  The idea is that the moon is pulling on our internal water (as we are made up mostly of water) and this effect causes us to act strangely.  I know the moon is linked to our emotions and the shadow as it is the illuminator during the darkness of night, acting as a reflector of the sun’s light.  I’m not sure exactly what this message is pointing to, but it definitely involves the moon.

Voyeur – This message appeared in a tv show in which a group of people involved in various sex acts during a party witnessed a death in their group.  The death seemed straightforward at first but was later found to be due to a combination of alcohol and drugs.  The second occurrence of this message was in this week’s Gene Keys message about being a watcher of life.  I identify with this message quite a bit as I’m regularly one to sit back and observe situations, rather than jump in and get involved.  I think this message has something to do with this role shifting in my life into me taking a more active role and participating.

Bite out of a sandwich – This message popped up in a Facebook post, in which a woman stated that every time her husband made her a sandwich, he’d always take a bit out of it before giving it to her.  It also appeared on a tv show in which a man was murdered because he received the last sandwich at a restaurant.  The investigator working on the case was disgusted that someone would eat a sandwich with a bite taken out of it by someone else.  I’m guessing that this message has to do with someone stealing your reward or spotlight.  Although the story about the husband biting his wife’s sandwich was shared with love, it does feel like this message points to someone stealing your thunder or trying to take credit for something you’ve done.  Perhaps, it is someone riding on your coattails and benefiting from your success.  Maybe it is a warning about energy vampires in my future?

During hypnosis, each of the messages came through with multiple meanings.  I saw the palm reading in my right hand and was led to understand that I have the answers I seek within me.  By extending my palm and offering connection to others, I can help them find the answers they seek within themselves.  Fox brought to mind my son, who is graduating this coming week.  He is a quiet, compassionate, and resourceful kid with a great sense of humor.  These qualities are ones which I also possess, and the adaptability of this animal will allow us both to be successful in our futures.  A pearl is created slowly over time by collecting little grains of sand, compiling them and transforming them into a beautiful treasure.  I am doing the same by collecting all of my life experience and wisdom, which is forming slowly over time into a valuable treasure trove of knowledge within me.  Cross-stitch is how I can bring everything together and stitch it into being, creating a comprehensive and meaningful collage of wisdom.  I am a gladiator who has fought for her sovereignty and will continue to fight the good fight of light, empowerment, and freedom using the tools I have.  Tuberculosis is the silent and dormant disease lying in wait for moments of weakness.  It mirrors the emotions of doubt, despair, uncertainty and the darkness that come with swimming in these feelings for too long.  Luna is the dark and the shadow side of what people may call me (lunatic, crazy, etc) for my beliefs.  The gladiator has learned how to fight against these energies that try to pull me down into darkness by standing in sovereignty.  I have been a voyeur watching from the outside, collecting information and I will have others who will observe me the same way.  By drawing on the strength of my inner gladiator, I can protect myself against those trying to take a bite out of my sandwich, or my energy.  There will be those who sit and watch, being entertained by what they see, but if I hold my center, remain sovereign, and continue to walk in my truth, while extending a helping hand to others, I will be successful.

I’ve been working on a new art project this week, but I’m allowing it to unfold in its own time despite knowing where I want it to go and how I envision it.  I could push through and just get it done, but I know that pushing and forcing is not my way, so pictures will have to wait.  In the meantime, I will share a picture of the baby chicks and turkeys that became part of our brood this week.  They are cute, stinky, loud, and growing very quickly!
