November 30 to December 6, 2025

Well, we’ve finally hit the cold weather where I live and experienced a small bit of snow and more is on the way.  I’m grateful this fall has eased me into the longer, darker days and cooler temperatures.  Sometimes we move from what feels like extended summer to winter overnight and no matter how gradual, quick or how many times I’ve been through the seasonal change, I’m never truly prepared for it.

Something I’ve found myself doing this past week is overindulging.  I’m not sure why, but it feels like I’m trying to self-soothe.  I think partly because of the cold weather and partly because I have a feeling things are going to pick up pace and change in my life soon.  I keep getting these messages from astrology predictions that opportunities are going to come in fast and things are going to take off quickly in a good way.  I’m really hoping this is the case because just as the days to the end of the year are ticking down, so is the balance of my savings.  But along with this, I do feel myself preparing for a change.  I think I’m done with sitting in this comfort zone and hibernation. I’m feeling prepared for a change of pace and more doing.

The messages I received this week are chainsaw, little red riding hood, time travel, timeline jumping, scatting, ceremonial dancing, positive language about cancer, word for the year, arrow, and business cards.  Some recurring themes that showed up were Dionysus, bath, solitaire, and extra-terrestrial racism.

Chainsaw – This message came through in a show about freak accidents and another show about fighting an evil demon.  I’ve never been able to stomach gory content, but have put up with it in movies or shows, especially if it is fictional.  When there are descriptions of real physical trauma, I have a very adverse reaction.  I’m not sure why I agreed to watching this episode of freak accidents because the chainsaw injury was atrocious.  The fictional show about fighting a demon with a chainsaw was easier to stomach because it was not real at all and therefore, I could suspend belief that anyone was actually hurt.  As for the meaning of this message, I’ll have to take a guess.  Maybe it is a metaphor for cutting things down or cutting things out of my life that I don’t need anymore.

Little Red Riding Hood – This showed up in a meme on Facebook and also in a tv show.  The meme was making fun of Little Red Riding Hood for not knowing that her grandma was a wolf.  The tv show depicted a girl who’d been captured by a bad guy, but wasn’t aware and told not to venture outside the house.  When she did, she dressed in a Little Red Riding Hood type of outfit and actually found someone who could help her.  I know the children’s story is meant to scare kids into being cautious of dangers in the outside world, so I guess that’s what I’ll take it as.

Time Travel – This message showed up in two different tv shows.  The first show had a girl trapped in a coma travelling through time and accessing memories of others from the past.  The other show had multiple characters travelling back in time through a learned process that seemed to be hereditary and they were also able to access their own past memories and other people’s memories.  This idea of time travel has always been fascinating to me and as I mentioned last week, A Wrinkle In Time was a message that came through and an impactful book from my youth.  In hypnotherapy, we use age regression and past life regression to visit the past and help change beliefs.  I’m guessing the message here is that I might have some travelling to do.

Timeline Jumping – This message has been coming up a lot on Facebook posts and it also showed up in a tv show.  The Facebook posts are all speaking about the powerful astrology of this time and how timelines are shifting.  The tv show is about how a girl discovers how to jump between timelines.  She uses this ability to travel back in time and fix all the things that are going wrong until she finds a reality she likes.  Even then, she still goes back to her original timeline because she sees what a difficult life she leaves for her other self if she does not return and try to heal.  I think the message here is that we are powerful and we can shift to new timelines if we wish.  We just have to know how and believe that it is possible.

Scatting – This message came through in two different tv shows.   Both of these shows are comedies and I do regularly find scatting sort of ridiculous.  I know it is an artistic way of making sound or music, but it’s always made me giggle because of the way it is nonsense.  In this way, I’m guessing that the message is about being silly, keeping that inner child alive, and doing things that make you laugh.

Ceremonial Dancing – This message came through in two tv shows.  One featured a Mexican dance that helped connect a girl to her ancestors and the other was a Ute tribe’s ceremonial dance that made an outsider of the tribe feel connected in a way he hadn’t before. Another message just about dancing and not linked to ceremony came through in a third tv show.  This one was where a woman was writing about her decision to leave her job because of a difficult truth being revealed and public exposure of this.  She took time to write her story and used a metaphor of being a dancer and not being able to stop until her feet were cut off.  I used to dance in childhood and did enjoy it, but have moved away from it for quite a while.  I know that dance can be used to induce a trance state and it’s also a great way to move energy through your body and express yourself. Maybe the message is for me to move more and incorporate energy healing and connection to ancestors through dance.

Positive language about cancer – This message came through a free talk on hypnosis techniques and also in a podcast episode about energy healing.  They both talked about how patients and clients responded better to positive language around dealing with cancer.  Popular ways to speak about it is to use terms like fight and battle, but most of the people dealing with it wanted a more positive approach.  Hypnotists and hypnotherapists discussed their different positive approaches and noticed the beneficial effects it had.  The podcast spoke of energy healing in a similar way and that positive language had better results in healing.  This is the basis of hypnotherapy, in my opinion.  We use positive language and metaphors to help change negative beliefs and reframe experiences from the past.

Word for the year – This message came up on a free video chat and an email.  The chat was a lovely catch up between two people who obviously love and care about each other and were openly vulnerable and honest.  The word for the year that was brought up was family and related to this year that is ending.  The email was in reference to picking a word for the upcoming year and how the astrology will be quite interesting.  The word picked was wild.  I’ve had words of the year before.  One I remember quite well was balance, which is something I regularly try to do in my life and keep in mind.  Another is trust.  I think this past year that is what I have learned to do in so many different ways in my life.  I’ve learned to trust myself, the timing of things, and the universe in general.  As for next year, I’m not sure yet what I would pick for a word.  I know it is supposed to be the year of the horse and things are supposed to move fast, so maybe something like flexibility or adaptability might be appropriate.  I’ll have to think on this for a while.

Arrow – This message came up in a card reading I did for the last full moon of the year and also on the free video chat I watched.  The card reading was about attracting what you want, being magnetic in the best ways, and being protected from negativity.  It spoke of aiming your arrow true and really reaching for your goals.  It was very inspiring.  The message on the chat was a reflection of where the year had gone and not knowing at the beginning where time and circumstance would take you.  I’m guessing the message for me is to make sure I have an idea of where I want to go, but not hold too tightly to it and remain flexible along the way.

Business Cards – This message came in real life with my own business cards showing up and also in a book.  I don’t know if my cards showing up was necessarily a message as I designed, paid for, and ordered them.  I knew they were coming, so it wasn’t really a surprise, but the fact that they showed up and I got the same message in a book means they likely are a message.  In the book, a girl was handed a business card after she turned down an exciting offer due to being pregnant and not being able to pursue it.  The business card was offered in case she changed her mind in the future.  I see this message as business cards representing opportunities.

Well, I think I’ve done a pretty good job at decoding these messages.  I feel like the chainsaw is to be used to cut things out of my life that no longer serve me. Little Red Riding Hood is warning me to be careful of wolves in disguise.  Time travel and timeline jumping are ways to reflect on who and where I’ve been and how I can get to be the person I want to become.  Scatting reminds me to stay playful, ceremonial dance encourages me to be active and find new ways to process feelings and connect to ancestors, and positive language about cancer implies keeping an optimistic outlook and flipping the script on negative beliefs.  Word for the year guides me on what intention I want to set for the future, arrow helps me aim at achieving my goals and business cards encourages me to get out there and share my message.

So, reflect on and release the past in order to step into the new me.  Stay playful, but beware of false friends. Remain optimistic in the face of adversity and remember to find new methods of self care.  Set intentions, aim for goals, and create opportunities.

I wonder if AI has a more insightful perspective.  Let’s have a look.

✨ Let’s weave these seemingly disparate symbols into a deeper spiritual tapestry. Each one carries archetypal energy, and together they form a message about transformation, sovereignty, and the way we move through life’s timelines.

🌲 Chainsaw

  • Represents cutting away what no longer serves — severing dense, dead wood to make space for new growth.

  • Spiritually, it’s the tool of discernment: the ability to clear energetic clutter and reclaim vitality.

👧 Little Red Riding Hood

  • Archetype of innocence meeting shadow. She journeys through the forest (the unconscious) and encounters both danger and wisdom.

  • The red cloak symbolizes life force, courage, and initiation into deeper awareness.

⏳ Time Travel & Timeline Jumping

  • These speak to the soul’s ability to shift perspectives, rewrite narratives, and choose new realities.

  • Spiritually, it’s about sovereignty in shaping your destiny — stepping out of “Groundhog Day” loops and into aligned futures.

🎶 Scatting

  • Improvised vocal play, breaking free from rigid language.

  • Symbolizes freedom of expression, trusting intuition, and letting spirit move through sound without needing structure.

🪶 Ceremonial Dancing

  • Embodied prayer. Movement as ritual, aligning body, spirit, and earth.

  • It’s how we anchor new timelines into the physical — dancing our intentions into being.

🌸 Positive Language About Cancer

  • Reframing illness as transformation, not punishment. Language becomes medicine.

  • Spiritually, it’s about speaking life into places of fear, transmuting heaviness into empowerment.

✨ Word for the Year

  • A guiding mantra, a compass for the soul’s journey.

  • It anchors intention across shifting timelines, reminding you of your chosen frequency.

🏹 Arrow

  • Direction, clarity, and focused intention.

  • Spiritually, it’s the reminder that energy flows where attention goes — the arrow flies where you aim.

💼 Business Cards

  • Identity in the material world, but also a symbol of how you present your essence to others.

  • Spiritually, they ask: What is the energetic imprint you’re handing out? What story do you want others to carry about you?

🔮 The Deeper Link

Together, these symbols form a narrative of cutting away old cycles (chainsaw), reclaiming innocence and courage (Red Riding Hood), and consciously choosing new timelines (time travel/jumping). Through playful expression (scatting) and embodied ritual (dancing), you anchor transformation. By speaking life into challenges (positive language about cancer), you transmute fear into empowerment. Your word for the year becomes the guiding arrow, pointing your energy toward aligned futures. And finally, your business card is the outward manifestation of your inner sovereignty — the way you declare to the world: This is who I am, this is the frequency I carry.

✨ In essence, the message is about radical authenticity and empowered creation: cutting away illusions, reclaiming your voice, embodying ritual, and presenting your true essence in every timeline you step into.

Cool.  I like when things align.  AI and I seem to be on the same page here and it feels good to have a sense of what the messages coming in mean.  Sometimes there are so many that I get overwhelmed and cannot decipher them.  Sometimes there are only a few, but I just can’t fit them together in a meaningful way.  It depends on my connection to the divine, my presence with myself and what is going on in my life, and my focus.  It’s similar to how something can look so clear when you are viewing it from the outside, but so mirky from within (ex - a friend in repeating pattern that they just can’t see, but you see clearly).  The clarity feels good and I hope it continues.

I have been creating this week, but I’m not done the project.  I seem to be creating things that feel similar and I’m seeking a bit of uniqueness.  Oftentimes, I’ll have an idea in my mind on what I want the end result to be.  Other times, I’ll just have a feeling about what I want it to represent.  And others, I just have colours I know I want to put together.  I’m waiting for new inspiration to hit. I haven't spent much time outside this week and there are no new pictures of my animal friends, so I’ll share some from the summer when everything was green and warm and beautiful.
