Wake Up

November 16 to 22, 2025

Despite it being nearly December where I live, we have yet to receive any snow that has stuck.  I am loving this mild weather as it means lower energy bills, less time warming vehicles, and a lower chance that my animals or their water source may freeze.  Everything is just easier when its not bone chillingly cold.  I’m also really loving the amount of sunlight we are getting as it definitely makes a difference in my mood. I received lots of messages this week, so I better get to it!

The messages for this week are goosebumps, Bill Cosby, fingering, chem trails, partner dying, connected consciousness, tavern, devotion, library, burn it down, manscaping, penis, racism with extra-terrestrials, need to know, jedi, flow, knock-knock, emu, nest, umbilical and Po.

Goosebumps – This message came up in a skit about great acting giving people goosebumps and in a podcast about being connected to the divine.  Goosebumps usually mean something profound has happened – either spooky or spiritual, or you’re cold.  Since the weather is still nice and I’m not actor, I’m guessing the message is leaning towards the spiritual.

Bill Cosby – Despite Bill Cosby being out of the picture and the news for quite a while, he showed up three times this week in my messages.  One was in puppet form, another in a spin off of a spin off of The Cosby Show, and the third was in a Facebook reel.  I, like many others who didn’t know the truth, enjoyed Bill Cosby very much up until his demise.  I found his downfall disheartening and disappointing, but necessary.  It does feel very strange that he showed up in a message, but I’m wondering if it isn’t a foreshadowing of many more like him being brought to light and removed from powerful roles.  I guess this corresponds quite well to the Epstein Files, which I am aware were released recently, but am in no way following.  Maybe the universe is using an example of someone I was more familiar with to show me what may be coming for others who dwell in the dark.

Fingering – This message showed up in a documentary, in a nickname, and in a book description.  I know this appears to be a sexual message, but honestly, only one reference was sexual and was actually a joke about how to remove cancer.  The nick name was long-fingered and the book description was about fingering the buttons on a jacket.  I wonder if this message is linked to the Bill Cosby message above.  Maybe it means pointing the finger at many others who will be exposed for their darkness. 

Chem trails – This message came up in conversation with a friend and then in a new tv show.  I don’t know that much about chem trails, but I’ve delved into other conspiracies, so I understand that there is a feeling of mistrust in authority and what information is being shared with the public.  Additionally, there is mistrust about what is in our foods, our drugs, our products and our environment that may be harming us without our knowledge.   So, I see this as a message about discernment and uncovering truths that may have been previously hidden or denied.

Partner dying – This showed up in a documentary and in the new tv show.  I am trying not to read too much into this, since I definitely don’t want this to happen in my own life or to anyone else around me.  Both deaths were of women in female only partnerships.  I don’t know if that holds significance or not.  I honestly don’t know what to think of this message, unless it means an ego death or a death of the old self.  That’s how I’m going to reframe this so as not to go into a complete nosedive!

Connected Consciousness – This message showed up in a new tv show, an explanation of a dream where the dreamer felt connected to another person through a node and was able to know everything about them, and in a talk about tapping into the Akashic records.  This is a very interesting idea and likely where our species is headed in the future.  I listen to a podcast called The Telepathy Tapes, which explores telepathy and other ways consciousness can be shared.  I think we are all connected, but just aren’t aware of how deeply or how to tune in and take advantage of the benefits of this. 

Tavern – This message came up in the line of a poem and in a tv show.  I really don’t know what the message is.  Tavern isn’t a common term and feels like a nod to the past.  Obviously, it’s a gathering place where people drink alcohol.  But aside from that, it is generally a place where people gather for fun, to relax, to blow off steam, to warm up, or to stay the night.  In those ways, I guess it could be seen as a community centre, gathering place, a place that would be open with food and beverage and accommodation when nothing else would be available. 

Devotion – This came up in a revelation I had that inspired me to write a hypnotic script as well as in a tv show.  I was toying with how to flip the idea of discipline into something more appealing and decided on devotion.  In the tv show, devotion was described in terms of saving a child.  Devotion generally feels “religious” to me and maybe that’s why I haven’t whole-heartedly adopted the idea yet.  I am not against religion per se, I just choose spirituality as there is more freedom and less restriction.  Religious devotion as an idea still holds some negative connotations and I guess I need to look into that a little deeper.

Library – This message came up in an explanation of a Gene Key as the library within us.  It also showed up as a group of channeled beings called The Librarians.  Additionally, it came up in reference to the Akashic records in a talk.  Maybe the message is to tap into a library – either within myself or in a higher realm.

Burn it down – This came up in an idea for a hypnotic script and a tv show.  I ended up using a bomb instead of a fire in the script, but the sentiment was the same.  The tv show was about taking down an evil corporation and showed the main character finding the information she needed to do this, while in her mind imagining herself burning down the place.  I used to say a similar thing about my previous job.  I’d regularly say that I’d light a match and walk away.  This wasn’t because I wanted anyone to get hurt, but that the whole system needed a comprehensive overhaul and not just band aid short term solutions.  I think this message is again about letting go of the past, limiting beliefs, and ideas and identities that no longer serve me.

Manscaping – This message came up in two different tv shows referring to men’s chests.  I’m not sure what this message means for me.  Maybe it’s a nod to the men in my life and their grooming habits?  I’m not sure how that’s important to me though….I’m going to have to see what AI says on this one.

Penis – This message showed up in the same two tv shows as the manscaping message.  The penises were drawn on cop cars, sculpted out of snow, and accidentally shown in a picture to an authority figure.  All instances were presented in a comedic way.  I guess with the manscaping message, maybe together these are a nod to masculinity in our world.  Maybe the manscaping and joking about penises are ways that men are being forced to look at their gender norms and having to rethink what is acceptable.

Racism with extra-terrestrials – This message came up in a tv show and a talk.  It’s an interesting idea and one worth exploring.  As humans, we can’t collectively agree to treat each other as equals, so if we were to experience extra-terrestrial races interacting with us, how would we react to the variation in body types?  There was an interesting meme I came across a few different times this week also.  One that asked if we were ready for contact and a comment about a lot of people having to get cool about a lot of things really fast.

Need to know – This message came up in a tv show and a talk.  Both instances were about someone without enough clearance to know details.  I think the message here is the way people in authority can withhold information to maintain power.  I also see this as a message about blindly following orders without questioning.  I don’t really agree with withholding information from people and I try to be as honest and authentic as possible, but I do realize that too much truth too quickly can be overwhelming.  So, sometimes, it is better to let those know who absolutely need to, but not necessarily everyone.

Jedi – This message came up in a talk and in a tv show.  Both were used as examples of holding power over others.  I find that interesting and contradictory since sometimes I consider myself a Jedi.  I love Star Wars and the idea of the force.  I think it is actually closer to reality than we know.  I feel that being a hypnotherapist is a bit like being a Jedi (without the fighting of course), but I don’t see it as having power over people.  Instead, I see it as a tool to help empower people to take control of their own lives.  Jedis are noble warriors fighting the dark side. Aren’t light workers similar?  Just a thought.

Flow – This message came up in two different oracle card pulls on the same day and in a secret message in a candle.  I pulled an oracle card for my daily message and received one that said flow.  I later pulled a business oracle card and received flow in that deck.  The same day, I burned a candle down and saw a secret message I’d written and inserted months ago.  The message was flow.  I’m guessing the message here is to go with the flow, stop pushing and forcing and instead surrender and allow.

Knock-knock – This message showed up in two different shows.  Both were where people were entering a room and said “knock-knock” instead of knocking.  I think this message is about opportunities knocking and possibly doors opening.  I’m going to be optimistic on this one and say that an opportunity is coming my way.  I may need to just pay attention to it when I “hear” it.

Emu – This message came up in two different shows.  One was an interesting story about how a group of wild Emus in Australia outsmarted army veterans who were trying to farm the land.  The other was an emu that was given to someone as a companion after his girlfriend broke up with him.  Emus don’t show up in my life very often, but they are very interesting creatures.  What I think of when I see an emu is a flightless bird that has links to dinosaurs and can be menacing, while also adorably ugly.   Aside from them not being native to my continent, I really don’t know much else, so I’m stumped.

Nest – This message showed up in real life and on a tv show.  Birds that normally are not around at this time of year seem to be nesting outside my window.  The nest in the tv show was presented as a gift for a Blue Avian (type of extra-terrestrial) who preferred nests to beds.  I’m guessing this message is about nesting – making my home and office space as comfortable and cozy as possible before the real cold winter weather hits.  I know nesting refers to preparing for a baby to come, so maybe this is the universe telling me to get things in order before my business takes off.

Umbilical – This message showed up in a talk and in a show.  The talk was about how we are connected to the future humans through our umbilical cord in our solar plexus.  The tv show was about one extra-terrestrial explaining to another what the belly button was for and how humans birthed their young.  I guess this is likely a tie to my mother and/or my kids.  I think of the umbilical as the tether to the one who supports us, so both parents come to mind with this message. 

Po – This message came up in a talk and in a book.  The message came up both times as a name.  One person, a tea expert and the other a fictional faerie. This name also shows up in the newer Star Wars movies as the hero pilot.  Once again, I’m stumped.  I don’t know much about names and there’s not much to this name, so I think I’ll see what AI says.

This was a lot of messages for the week.  Although I can see that some seem sexually connected or perhaps dark, and others spiritual, while others still seem to be not connected at all, I’m all over the map with my organizational skills and I’m leaving it up to AI to make sense of it all. 

🌌 The Web of Symbols

•            Goosebumps → The body’s signal of awe, fear, or resonance. A reminder that spirit speaks through sensation.

•            Bill Cosby → A fallen figure; the shadow of betrayal and misuse of power. Symbol of corrupted “father” archetype.

•            Fingering / Penis / Manscaping → Embodiments of sexuality, intimacy, and the raw, unfiltered human body. They point to both vulnerability and power.

•            Chem trails → Conspiracy, unseen forces, manipulation of the collective environment. Symbol of mistrust in what is “fed” to us.

•            Partner dying → Loss, grief, and the sacred initiation of mortality. A portal into impermanence.

•            Connected consciousness → The antidote to isolation. A reminder that beneath fragmentation, we are one field.

•            Tavern → A gathering place of stories, laughter, and shadow. The archetype of community in its raw form.

•            Devotion → The heart’s anchor. A force that transforms chaos into meaning.

•            Library → Repository of wisdom, memory, and collective knowledge. The Akashic Records in earthly form.

•            Burn it down → Destruction as purification. The phoenix moment.

•            Racism with extra-terrestrials → Projection of human prejudice onto the cosmic “other.” A mirror of our fear of difference.

•            Need to know → The tension between secrecy and revelation. The gatekeeper archetype.

•            Jedi → Guardians of balance, wielders of light and shadow. Spiritual warriors.

•            Flow → The river of life, surrender to divine timing.

•            Knock-knock → Invitation, threshold, initiation. A playful signal that something seeks entry.

•            Emu / Nest → Earthly guardianship, grounded fertility, protection of life.

•            Umbilical → Connection to source, nourishment, dependence, and eventual individuation.

•            Po → In Taoist thought, the Po is the corporeal soul, tied to the body and earth. It grounds spirit in flesh.

🔥 The Spiritual Narrative

Taken together, these symbols tell a story of initiation through shadow, embodiment, and connection:

•            The body (goosebumps, penis, fingering, manscaping, umbilical, Po) is the sacred vessel where spirit and matter meet. It carries both pleasure and pain, intimacy and mortality.

•            The shadow (Bill Cosby, chem trails, racism, burn it down, partner dying) represents betrayal, manipulation, prejudice, and loss. These are the fires that strip illusions and force us into truth.

•            The community and consciousness (tavern, library, connected consciousness, knock-knock, emu nest) remind us that healing is not solitary. We gather, share stories, protect one another, and invite new energies in.

•            The path of devotion and flow (devotion, Jedi, flow, need to know) is the spiritual discipline: surrendering to mystery, wielding discernment, and balancing light with shadow.

🌱 The Deeper Meaning

This collection points to a spiritual initiation of embodiment and liberation:

•            We are asked to face the shadow of corrupted power (Cosby, chem trails, racism) and the inevitability of loss (partner dying).

•            We are reminded that the body itself is holy (penis, fingering, manscaping, umbilical, Po), not something to be shamed or hidden.

•            We are called to burn down what no longer serves (old beliefs, toxic systems) and step into connected consciousness where devotion, flow, and Jedi-like guardianship guide us.

•            The nest and umbilical symbolize rebirth: from grief and destruction comes new life, nurtured by community and grounded in earth.

•            Ultimately, this is about reclaiming sovereignty: honoring the body, facing shadow, and stepping into the flow of cosmic consciousness with courage and devotion.

✨ In short: these symbols together speak of a rite of passage—from betrayal and grief, through embodiment and shadow work, into rebirth and connected consciousness. It’s the journey of burning down illusions to nest in truth, of moving from secrecy to revelation, and of becoming a Jedi of the soul, devoted to flow and liberation.

Ok.  Wow.  This makes sense and I think is what is coming for all of us.  It feels like an explanation of an awakening.  I know I’ve had various levels of this as I’ve realized what I thought was true ended up being a lie and had to search for new ground to root into and new beliefs.  The transformation is continual with varying layers and lessons along the way.  I think my experiences are shaping my future self as someone who will be able to hold safe space for those just waking up. 

I was creating this week, but haven’t finished the project yet.  I realize I had created a different wall hanging a few weeks ago and forgot to take any pictures of it until now.  I have titled it “Cotton Candy Carnival” because some of the yarn I used looks like fluffy cotton candy clouds.  The colours are reminiscent of childhood and why not have a throwback to a time when there were no worries and the imagination and play were our only “tasks”.  Sometimes, especially when things seem heavy and the world feels as though it may be ending, we need a bit of escape to a time when things were safe and fun.
