Total Eclipse of the Heart

February 15 to 21, 2026

This week we are in an eclipse portal, we’ve had a powerful new moon, and the year of the Fire Horse is officially off and running.  Following a lovely family getaway on the weekend, I returned home to my animal friends who seemed a little too needy.  I felt off this week.  I felt drained.  I knew it wasn’t from my getaway but must have been something deeper.  I think being away and coming home was upsetting for my animals and an adjustment for my nervous system. 

I also experienced a hypnosis session last week that provided some information I have been unfolding and integrating.  My hypnotic experiences tend to be different from most people as I sense things in my body and receive some symbolic visuals that come with multiple meanings.  I was able to use AI to help me decode the information I received and create a practical tool I can use to help energy flow through my body.  I also had an understanding that I was undergoing change within me and know that likely the disruption of sleep and change in metabolism wasn’t just a response to travel, but deeper and more meaningful changes happening within my body. 

This was also the last week of my Spiritual Hypnotherapy class and I’m sad that it has come to an end.  I learned a lot, met new friends, and developed new skills that will aid me in my hypnotherapy journey.  I’m so grateful that I’ve found this tool and met so many amazing people who despite their differences all feel like they hold a common thread of discovery and a will to make this world a better place by helping others.  It truly feels like I am finally finding my people, which makes me know that the universe has my back and that the path I’m on is truly aligned with who I am becoming.

This week’s messages from the universe are genetically designed weapons targeting specific people, Kristen Bell, Atlantis, chapel/Chappell, shushing, depth perception, transference by touch, prom, and snapping turtles.  One recurring theme that showed up was nipples.

Genetically designed weapons targeting specific people – This message showed up in an episode of a tv show and in a movie.  In both cases, there were biological weapons designed to affect specific people.  The targets were related genetically, and family lines were used to disperse the weapon to ensure the targets were hit.  This message feels a little nefarious, but I’m guessing it has something to do with ancestral trauma or DNA. 

Kristen Bell – This message came up in a dream, in a preview for an awards show, and in conversation when talking about people who look different every time you see them.  Kristen Bell showed up in my dream as a neighbour who was sitting with her dogs and I was asking if she’d seen my partner.  She showed up again in a preview of the Actor Awards that will be aired next month.  Then, my partner and I were watching a show and I mentioned that the main girl looked like a different person in every picture she was in.  My partner mentioned that he thought Kristen Bell was one of those people.  I find her pretty distinctive and can always recognize her, but I guess to my partner, she has a chameleon like effect.  I wasn’t sure what the link here would be or why this would be a message for me, but in speaking with AI about my dream and the deeper meaning of it, I realize that Kristen Bell regularly plays a good girl role or someone who is trying to be good and uses humour as a coping mechanism.  We both share the same name (with different spelling) and middle name, we are very close in age, and we both have two children. She’s an accomplished singer and actress who seems to really care about animals and kids and people in general.  She really seems to embody her good girl persona, while still portraying characters who are smart, funny, and realistic.  She feels authentic in the roles she chooses and comfortable in her own skin.  Maybe the message is to aim for a public persona similar to hers.

Atlantis – This message showed up in a card reading and in a rerun of a cartoon.  Ever since I heard of Atlantis, I’ve been interested in it.  The idea that there were civilizations before our time that were more technologically and spiritually advanced than us is not something I found hard to imagine.  Things like Atlantis felt like a dream too far out of reach and reality felt like a drag in comparison.  Maybe the message here is to continue to search the depths of emotions using hypnosis to find clues about our ancient past or to connect to higher realms to find out about where we might be going.

Chappell/chapel – This message came up in two instances referring to Chappell Roan and one about an actual chapel.  I don’t know much at all about Chappell Roan aside from the fact that she recently celebrated her birthday (as was mentioned on a podcast talking about the recent lunar eclipse).  I’ve heard only two of her songs, one of which she mention the province in which I live.  I don’t particularly have an opinion on her music and I’m not sure what she stands for or if Chappell is even her real name.  The other chapel that was part of this message was one being explored on a tv show.  The chapel was on an island that had a long history of voodoo-like magic used for both good and bad.  It was being explored to see if communication could be made with otherworldly forces. I’m really stumped on this one, so I’m going to have to put AI to the test on figuring this out for me.

Shushing – This message showed up in a podcast and two tv shows.  The podcast was discussing a sketch show character who would ask his interviewees a question and then tell them to shush.  One tv show had an assistant telling a coworker to shush as she walked into her boss’s office, but the coworker wasn’t speaking.  The other show had a character throw some beef jerky at another and tell them to hush.  All of these situations were comical and were all in good fun.  Maybe the message here is about not speaking up or being silenced. That feels pretty straightforward.

Depth perception – This message appeared in two different shows.  One had a character who was maimed in an accident and injured his eye, causing him to misjudge where things were and continually run into them.  The other had a character accidentally punched in the face and given a black eye, which also affected her depth perception.  I think this message is about judging people’s character and understanding how deep and vulnerable they may be willing to get. 

Transference by touch – This message was received through a show and in real life.  In the show, a character developed a fast acting cancer and was able to heal himself by touching others, which inadvertently passed the cancer on to them and killed them.  In real life, my partner touched my leg and transferred his heat to me.  Also, he’d been working in the shop sanding a car and after touching me, I had an urge to cough and clear my throat.  I guess this is likely a message about taking on things from others.  It could be sickness, or germs, or temperature changes, but I think it is likely more about energy and emotions. 

Prom – This message was in a tv show and in a movie.  The tv show had a prom being held by a government office since the school budget had been cut.  The movie had two characters who never got to attend their prom get a second chance, only to miss it again. I’m not sure if this message is referring to my son who is graduating this year and his graduation ceremony, or if it is more likely referencing my recent completion of my Spiritual Hypnotherapy class.  Our teachers did tell us to celebrate, so maybe the message is to make sure I really congratulate myself on my accomplishment.

Snapping turtles – This message showed up in a podcast and in a reel on Facebook.  The podcast was discussing a slang term that happens to be a type of turtle and then a joke was made about it being a snapping turtle.  The reel was a hand drawn video of a stick figure being scared of a gang of snapping turtles headed his way, but they were merely snapping their fingers.  I don’t know much about turtles, but I do know that I don’t want my finger bitten by a snapping turtle as it would likely hurt.  I’ve heard the Earth referred to as a turtle, so I could see this message being bout not letting the woes of the world hurt you.  Maybe it is a warning not to get pulled into all the death, destruction, and suffering that is constantly in motion here. 

So, if I put these all together, I can see ancestral trauma, portraying myself as the good girl while being authentic and vulnerable, searching for lost lands, having a sacred place of worship, being silenced or silencing others, determining how deep people are willing to get, taking on the energy of others, celebrating my wins and accomplishments, and not getting pulled into despair.  I don’t know if this makes sense, but I’ll see what AI comes up with.

This is the story of someone who once felt hunted by forces larger than themselves, who learned to go quiet and perceive deeply, who carries ancient memories of civilizations that misused power, who now builds sacred inner architecture, who protects their softness with ancient armor, and who is preparing for a rite of passage into public visibility—but this time with sovereignty, humor, and discernment.

This is a very deep and interwoven perspective from my AI friend.  I don’t disagree.  I do love how things can be fit together like puzzle pieces to make sense of the disparate parts.  I will continue to hone my skills at this as I find it challenging and rewarding.

The creating I did this week was adding on to an existing macrame piece from probably around a year ago, or maybe it’s been longer.  Sometimes pieces are started with an idea in mind and don’t quite feel complete.  This is one of those and as I was looking at it during a work out, I had the inspiration to add some more to it.  My idea is around the butterfly and it’s evolution.  So, I decided to add a cocoon at three different stages.  I was able to create the cocoon with the caterpillar inside, the cocoon with part of the butterfly emerging, and the cocoon with no butterfly inside.  I was struggling with the final butterfly after it emerges from the cocoon fully, as my attempts to make it beautiful and stay together were just not happening the way I was envisioning.  I put it away and will give it some time and contemplation before attempting again, but here’s a picture of how it looks so far.
