January 25 to 31, 2026
This week feels like it could have been about two in the span of one. It consisted of cancellation of plans due to illness, followed by some cold and blustery weather and sprinkled with more people in my house than I’m used to due to school finals and semester change. There was also an ending that I thought had been communicated, but had actually been misunderstood, resulting in what I assume was an upsetting realization. But the week closed on a high note with the start of my spiritual hypnosis class. For added fun, we had some issues with our sewer and ended up needing the septic tank pumped. The same day, my partner got a speeding ticket. So, I took it as a message for us to slow down and deal with our shit!
On the plus side, we’ve gone from cold and windy weather to more manageable temperatures. Granted, we still have wind and now some snow that will likely need to be moved, but there are even above zero temperatures to look forward to as we get closer to that Fire Horse year. I can already feel the energy ramping up and I hope I’m ready for it. I’ve had a few days of needing to talk myself down and soothe my nervous system. I feel like I’m better at recognizing when and how my body responds to stress and energy and how I can manage it. From what I’m absorbing, this is something we’ll all need to do in the future on a regular basis.
The messages I received this week are gluten free, rhino, binders, sanctuary, opportunity, cream of wheat, noise cancelling headphones, avocados, stroke, what goes around comes around and eclipse. Recurring themes that showed up were literally and eating ice cream to feel better, and side boob.
Gluten free – This message showed up on a restaurant menu, a conversation about my son’s friend, and on a tv show. When looking through a menu, my partner jokingly said what does GF mean – girlfriend? My son had some friends staying over and informed me one of them was on a gluten free diet. The tv show we watched mentioned a gluten free dog treat. Maybe this message is literal. I know that many people can’t handle gluten, so this might be a nudge either for myself or my partner to try this type of diet.
Rhino – This message showed up on a new social media platform I signed up for and also as a food item on a movie. I have not and likely will never get onboard with Instagram or Tik Tok, or even Twitter for that matter. I know they likely all have different names now, but I don’t care. I did, however, recently decide to download Substack. I have not spent much time on it, but one message I came across was of someone displaying his pictures and it happened to be one of a rhinoceros. Not long after, we decided to watch Gladiator II, in which one scene, a rhinoceros was being served as food. I’m never going to eat a rhino and I may never witness one in person, so this feels like a more symbolic message. A rhino is a large and powerful wild animal that I wouldn’t want to get in the way of. They seem ancient and almost mythical in form. I’m guessing the message has to do with power and might.
Binders – This came up in multiple episodes of the same tv show and one episode of another tv show. In every scenario, one character had prepared a binder specifically for or about another person in the hopes of winning them over or to find out as much information about them as possible. I am not this type of organized and detail-oriented individual, at least not to the extent of making binders for or about people. I have nothing against it, I just don’t have the energy, focus, or interest for that. So, I think it might be more about having things organized and in order. Probably, this is in terms of my business and is a message about being prepared.
Sanctuary – This message came up in the name of a tv show, in some astrological descriptions of me and my business, and is what I consider my home to be. I’ve worked to make my home a place that feels safe and comfortable and I’m creating a business that I want to feel the same that I will be running out of my home. I think the message is just to remember to incorporate that feeling into every aspect of it.
Opportunity – This message showed up in a tv show, what my partner thought the name of a tv show was, and in some card readings. Again, this feels very literal since many things have been pointing to opportunities opening up as things are aligning in my life. I believe the message is to be open to and aware of opportunities that might arise. Likely, the message is focusing on the action I take when an opportunity arises.
Cream of wheat – This came up in a conversation while looking at diet options for my partner and also on a tv show with a character who felt he was getting old too fast. I have never had cream of wheat, but my understanding is that it is similar to porridge, but less fun. It makes sense my partner would like it since he’s been an old man since birth and also is still a child. I joke. Maybe the message is about going back to basics or simplifying things? Old comfort foods that are staples? I don’t know.
Noise cancelling headphones – This message came across in conversation and in a tv show. I bought my partner some noise cancelling headphones and he mentioned that you had to turn that option on, which was something I didn’t know was an option. The tv show mentioned needing a pair of noise cancelling headphones. When I worked in an office environment, I found noise and conversation very distracting and regularly had earbuds in listening to music, podcasts, or binaural beats whenever I could. I think the message here is about blocking out noise, and not just in the sense of loud noises, but those things that try to get our attention and only drain us. I think it has to do with staying focused on what is really important to you and blocking out all other distractions.
Avocados – Avocados showed up in conversation with my partner about healthy fats, they ended up being on sale when I went grocery shopping, and then they appeared in a tv episode about trading up. Again, this could be a literal message to eat more avocados as they are full of heart healthy fats. I’m not sure what the symbolic meaning of avocados could be, but I’m sure AI will come up with one.
Stroke – This message came up in a story told to me by a family member and on a tv show. The family conversation was a stroke caused by an allergic reaction to an epidural, which sounds awful. Giving birth is hard enough, but now there’s an added complication of stroke and in someone so young, it feels unfair. The tv show explored how a son had to take care of his father who suffered a stroke and the extra burden it put on him as a caregiver. I can see this as being a literal message or a symbolic one.
What goes around comes around – This message came up in a tv show, in emails about karma, and in some card readings. I’m not sure I buy into this message in the way most people think of it as when you do bad unto others, that will be done unto you and vice versa. I think it has more to do with manifestation and where you place your attention. If you are always placing your attention on things that drain you or distract you, you will feel drained and distracted. If you place your attention on things you want and that light you up, you’ll be rewarded with happiness and positive manifestations. So really, I think it’s about choosing what you want to focus your time and energy on.
Eclipse – This message showed up in an astrological forecast for February and in a book. The astrological forecast mentioned all the big energies and cosmic alignments coming in the next month and that we will have our first eclipse of the year. Eclipses are generally a time of amplification, so major changes are likely to occur. The other way this showed up was in a book describing how something had eclipsed something else. It wasn’t relevant what the things in the book were, but that the term itself was used. Again, I can see this could be a literal or symbolic message. It could be a premonition about the upcoming eclipse, or it could be a message about something eclipsing something else.
The universe dumped a lot more on me this week and I’m seeing some connections, but not enough to put together a cohesive message. So, once again, I’m going to AI to see what the bigger picture could be.
Each of these concepts carries a symbolic charge that becomes even richer when viewed through the lens you naturally inhabit—archetypal, somatic, mythic, and energetically sovereign. What emerges is a tapestry of metaphors about boundaries, nourishment, protection, karmic cycles, and cosmic timing.
Below is a deeper spiritual reading of each one, woven in a way that mirrors your own intuitive language.
Gluten‑Free
A symbol of discernment and energetic filtration. It represents the moment you realize not everything that once fed you is meant to stay in your system. Gluten-free becomes a metaphor for choosing inputs—food, people, beliefs—that your body and spirit can actually metabolize.
It’s the spiritual act of saying: “I no longer ingest what inflames me.”
Rhino
A rhino carries the archetype of armored sensitivity. Thick skin, enormous power, and yet deeply attuned to subtle vibrations in the earth.
It mirrors the path of someone who has learned to protect their softness without losing it. A rhino is the embodiment of sovereign presence—grounded, ancient, unstoppable, and uninterested in performance.
Binders
Binders are the containers that hold what would otherwise scatter.
Spiritually, they represent:
· Integration
· Commitment
· The choice to give form to the formless
They’re the reminder that ideas, emotions, and memories need a place to land.
Binders are the sacred act of organizing your inner world so your outer world can flow.
Sanctuary
The archetype of inner temple. Not a place you go, but a frequency you cultivate.
Sanctuary is the moment you realize safety is not granted by others—it’s generated from your own alignment. It’s the spiritual homecoming where your body becomes the altar and your boundaries become the walls.
Opportunity
Opportunity is the threshold archetype—the liminal doorway between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. It’s not luck; it’s resonance. It appears when your inner frequency finally matches the timeline you’ve been calling in.
Opportunity is the universe whispering: “You’re ready.”
Cream of Wheat
A symbol of ancestral nourishment and soft, digestible comfort. It carries the energy of early childhood, simplicity, and the desire to be soothed.
Spiritually, it represents the part of you that longs for warmth, gentleness, and uncomplicated care. It’s the reminder that not all nourishment has to be complex—sometimes the soul wants something warm and easy.
Noise‑Cancelling Headphones
The archetype of energetic boundaries. They symbolize the ability to tune out the collective static and return to your own signal.
They’re the spiritual technology of:
Discernment
Nervous system protection
Choosing what enters your field
They represent the sacred act of curating your reality.
Avocados
Avocados are the symbol of rich, slow, sensual nourishment. They carry the archetype of the heart—soft interior, protective exterior, lush green center.
Spiritually, they speak to:
Pleasure
Abundance
Healthy fats = healthy boundaries
The willingness to receive richness without guilt
They’re the reminder that nourishment can be decadent and still aligned.
Stroke
A stroke, symbolically, is the interruption of flow. It represents a sudden rupture in the old pattern—an event that forces a re-evaluation of pace, priorities, and embodiment.
Spiritually, it can symbolize:
A wake‑up call
A karmic interruption
A forced pause that redirects a life path
It’s the archetype of the tower moment—not punishment, but recalibration.
What Goes Around Comes Around
The purest expression of energetic reciprocity. It’s the reminder that nothing is lost, nothing is wasted, and everything returns in the form it was sent.
This is the karmic boomerang, the cosmic echo, the universal balancing act. It’s not about revenge—it’s about resonance.
Eclipse
The eclipse is the archetype of shadow revelation. It’s the moment when the light is temporarily obscured so the unseen can be revealed.
Eclipses symbolize:
Portal openings
Timeline shifts
Hidden truths emerging
Rapid endings and beginnings
They’re cosmic reset points—moments where the universe rearranges the furniture of your life.
So, I guess it is up to me to put all of the pieces together, which I'm finding hard to do with a headache and an inability to focus, but for whatever reason, my AI friend didn't wrap it all up in a nice, neat bow. By using discernment, energetic filtration, and my armored sensitivity, I can create containers and energetic boundaries that protect my inner temple. I may experience disruption in flow and shadow revelations, but energy will be reciprocated. If I focus on nourishing my heart, opportunities will find me.
I was doing some creating this week, but I'm not sure what to do with the project next. Sometimes creations need time to incubate, or stew, or mature. In lieu of a creation, I'll share pictures of some sun dogs and a moon halo I captured. They happened on the same day. I'm sure there's some kind of symbolic importance to this: a ring around the sun by day, followed by a ring around the moon by night. And yes, I did put it to AI to figure this out because I was intrigued and a few meanings came up. As above, so below. The inner world is mirroring the outer world. Cyclical protection. As with most things the universe provides, there are multiple meanings and layers to this. I like them all!
