December 14 – 20, 2025

This week had a few ups and downs emotionally and weather wise.  I started the week a meeting with my financial advisor.  It was fine and went better than I expected, but still had an emotional impact on me.  My investments are doing well and I’ve made some money for my retirement, which is great.  However,  I think because I’m in this state of limbo between the old me and the new me and my day to day finances aren’t what I’d like, this meeting made me feel a bit less than.  But, I’ve got a plan for the next few months and I can really feel the energy shifting this week.  And the day following my meeting, I was flying high emotionally.  The rest of the week oscillated between pretty happy and grateful, to worry and fear, and then back up.

The weather has been ridiculous as well.  Winds have been whipping up everything here.  We had high winds, followed by snow, followed by calm and cold, followed by extremely high winds and cold and snow all at once.  Needless to say, I’m already done with winter and it’s technically only starting this coming week.  I’m grateful that I don’t have to go out in this in a vehicle every day as I did in my old life, but it still poses challenges.  I think the point of this winter weather was a bit of a wake up call to make sure I’m ready for the new year and the new me.

I also had a really wonderful hypnotherapy session with a friend that left me feeling lighter and more confident.  We tackled my fear of fully stepping into my business.  It was amazing and I’m so grateful I have friends who are generous and magically gifted.  This was work I’ve been doing on myself for the past six months, but I really felt it in my body in this session.  That’s another thing I learned about myself this week.  I’d already known that I experience hypnosis in my body rather than seeing images as many people do.  After discussing this with a friend, she suggested I look into a condition called aphantasia.  It’s a spectrum like anything, but basically it is when you can’t form a picture in your mind when asked to visualize something.  I know I have vivid dreams where I see scenes playing out before me and faces and details, so I know my mind’s eye does work.  However, when I’m asked to picture something in my mind, I don’t necessarily get a visual of it.  I usually tend to just know or sense what it looks like.  This is different from how pretty much everyone I’ve done sessions with experience hypnosis.  And that’s a valuable piece of information to understand about myself.  I think it just means that I need to focus on the physical feelings and what my body is telling me to help guide me to my answers.

I also had a dream later in the week which felt a bit like a hypnosis session.  I know there was symbolic meaning in it, but I haven’t quite unraveled the message yet.  What happened was that my partner and I were in a truck and we went off the road.  We rounded a curve and the truck flew off a bridge and I knew we weren’t going to make it.  But when this happened, I felt a shift in my body that felt like energy had left me. I woke up just after being flung off the bridge and noticed that my body felt great, especially my neck and shoulders.  This is a part of me where I hold a lot of tension and I know it represents responsibility.  For me, I think the responsibility is emotional – kind of like I hold the weight of the world on my shoulders emotionally.  I think maybe because I’ve felt the emotional weight bearer for years and maybe the message is that I don’t have to hold that any more.    It was also a bit jarring as the ending of a dream where my partner and I fly off a road in a vehicle isn’t really a great omen.  I’m trying not to read too much into this because despite knowing we couldn’t have survived that fall, it was a dream and the rules we think we know in our day to day reality don’t necessarily exist in dreams.  I’m just going to let this one simmer a bit and see what plays out.

On to the messages for the week.  They are archetypes, the watchers, pagers, wild, chiffon, dumbwaiter, and walk.  There weren’t any recurring themes that I paid any attention to, but it’s possible some came up.

Archetypes – This message showed up in a Facebook card reading message, telling me to look into different archetypes.  It also showed up in the Gene Keys weekly message and was about exploring your beliefs.  I have been interested in tarot, but never fully dove in.  There’s something interesting about it and I know archetypes are explored, but I think maybe the rigidity of it and some of the negative stories the cards portray are what keep me from really getting into it.  I know that the major arcana explore different archetypes and I’m somewhat familiar with them.  I know that archetypes are also explored in mythology and psychology and likely many other studies and I’ve dipped my toes in here and there.  I think the message is to explore these archetypes further and maybe feel into which ones resonate at different points in my journey.

The Watchers – This message came up in a movie I decided to watch of the same name.  It also showed up in a Facebook post, and in a show about quantum hypnosis.  The movie was about what I expected it to be.  I was disappointed that fear was used to depict the Fae folk in the movie, but that’s been the narrative that has sold tickets, so why not perpetuate it? The Facebook post was explaining how extradimensional beings called the watchers observe timelines and use synchronicities to communicate, but are ultimately just witnesses to our reality.  The show was an episode exploring quantum healing hypnosis technique (QHHT) where a client experienced a lifetime as an interdimensional being.  As he experienced this, he explained that he was able to communicate telepathically and for fun, he might tap into another being’s mind telepathically to watch what they were witnessing.  This was called “observables”, which to me is the same thing as being a watcher.  I often feel in social settings that I do sit back and observe.  I’m not usually the outgoing person who is starting conversations and trying to grab attention.  More often, I’m sitting in the background observing, listening, and just witnessing what is going on.  I think this serves me well in a hypnotherapy role as most of the work is done by clients themselves and I just act as a guide, or facilitator, or witness and hold space for them to make the changes they need.  So, to me, the message is to continue to play this role.

Pagers – This message came up in a podcast and also in a reel on Facebook.  Both messages were reminiscent of times past when pagers were more prevalent.  I’m not sure if people still have pagers, but regardless, they seemed to be a precursor to cell phones.  They were something that could get your attention and reach you more quickly than other options at the time, but where you still had some autonomy over the technology.  It didn’t track where you were at any point in time and it allowed you to make a response when it was convenient for you.  Unlike today’s phones that track everything you do, think, eat, feel, and experience, they were a gentler way of trying to get your attention.  I never had one, nor felt the need for one.  I associate them with busy doctors who need to be reached in an emergency.  But with some reflection, I think I might actually prefer this method of communication than what we have in place today.  Everyone seems to be too accessible and yet at the same time, the expectation to respond to texts and emails and posts and notifications immediately is enough to make a person want to get rid of their phone altogether.  So, maybe the message here is to slow down, reduce unnecessary noise, and teach others how and when you will respond and show up.

Wild – This message showed up in a Gene Keys talk about the upcoming year and also in a podcast about the word for next year.  I think the message here is pretty clear: expect next year to be a wild ride.  I don’t doubt this will be the case.  All things I’ve been absorbing point to a pretty wild year ahead, mostly because there are big changes and shifts coming astrologically.  Also, in numerology, we’re heading into a 1 year, which is a fresh start.  Additionally, so many messages about 2025 have come in saying it is a year of shedding the old and making space for the new.  So, I guess we just have to prepare ourselves as best we can for a wild ride in 2026!

Chiffon – This message came through in a conversation with family and a description of a near death experience.  The conversation was around making a chiffon cake, what I typically think of as an angel food cake, but there are differences.  The near-death experiencer was describing a chiffon like energy.  I don’t really think of or use this word often as I tend to think of the fabric it depicts, and I guess that’s why these descriptions were used.  Chiffon is a light and airy fabric and that is also the characteristics of the cake and the energy being described.  Maybe the message here is to adopt some of these qualities myself, as though I should be more light and airy, rather than heavy and dense.

Dumbwaiter – This message showed up in two different tv shows, both in which important evidence and equipment were found or left in a dumbwaiter as a way to hide them.  This is a unique feature and one which I’ve never had in any of my homes.  It’s an old, yet efficient and effective way of moving things from one room to another.  It also feels a bit mysterious or secret as it is unseen.  I’m guessing that the message might be about moving energy.  Since I had the hypnotherapy session to move fear out of my body and the dream that moved out the emotional responsibility, maybe the dumbwaiter is an unseen mechanism to use to move energy through me.  I could be off here, but this is what I’m going with.

Walk – This message showed up in two different books.  Both were pointing to walks as a healthy and easy addition to a daily routine.  One pointed out that people who lived in blue zones, where the life expectancy was far greater than other areas of the world, took daily walks and this was a factor that led to their longevity.  The other was an alternative suggestion to overexerting yourself in a workout.  I know the message here is to get out into nature daily and go for a walk, no matter how cold or windy or snowy it is!  This always does me good and I know it, so I just have to make sure to do it!

Ok, so putting this all together this week, I see messages to explore different archetypes to learn how they impact me in the moment, be a witness, develop time and accessibility boundaries, prepare for a wild ride, be more light and airy, learn to move energy through me in different ways and get out and move in nature.  I feel like I really tapped into these ones, but I’ll still see what AI comes up with.

🌬️ A Spiritual Weaving of Your Symbols

Below is a unified interpretation — not literal, but mythic, intuitive, and energetic — that ties each concept into a single spiritual landscape.

🜁 Archetypes: The Inner Cast of the Soul

Archetypes are the primordial patterns that live inside us — the inner characters who shape our instincts, desires, fears, and gifts. They are the “roles” our soul tries on as it evolves.

In your symbolic ecosystem, archetypes form the foundation. Everything else becomes an expression or messenger of these deeper patterns.

👁️ The Watchers: The Witnessing Consciousness

The Watchers represent:

  • the part of you that sees without judgment

  • the ancestral or spiritual presence that observes your unfolding

  • the higher awareness that notices patterns before you consciously do

They are the quiet guardians of your archetypal landscape — the ones who hold the long view.

In spiritual terms, they are the Self watching the selves.

📟 Pagers: The Subtle Calls From the Unconscious

Pagers are the nudges, the pings, the synchronicities.

They’re the tiny messages your psyche sends when an archetype wants attention:

  • a sudden memory

  • a dream fragment

  • a bodily sensation

  • a craving

  • a symbol that repeats

Pagers are the alerts that something within you is shifting, awakening, or asking to be integrated.

They’re the bridge between the Watchers (the witness) and the Archetypes (the actors).

🌿 Wild: The Untamed, Sovereign Life Force

The Wild is the archetype of:

  • instinct

  • freedom

  • truth

  • raw vitality

  • the part of you that refuses to be domesticated

It’s the energy that breaks patterns, dissolves conditioning, and returns you to your original nature.

In this symbolic system, the Wild is the force that responds when a pager goes off. It’s the part of you that says:“I hear the call — now let me move.”

🫧 Chiffon: The Veil Between Worlds

Chiffon is airy, translucent, delicate — a perfect metaphor for:

  • liminality

  • intuition

  • the subtle layers of reality

  • the soft boundary between conscious and unconscious

It’s the veil that the Watchers see through, and the Wild moves through.

Chiffon is the texture of spiritual perception — thin enough to let light through, soft enough to distort it.

🛗 Dumbwaiter: The Inner Elevator Between Levels of Self

A dumbwaiter is a small lift that carries items between floors.

Symbolically, it becomes:

  • the mechanism that moves messages between realms

  • the inner transport system of intuition

  • the way insights travel from the depths to the surface

It’s how the unconscious sends offerings upward — and how the conscious sends intentions downward.

The dumbwaiter is the soul’s delivery system.

🚶‍♀️ Walks: The Integration Path

Walks represent:

  • movement

  • embodiment

  • grounding

  • the way insights become lived experience

A walk is the moment when:

  • an archetype becomes a choice

  • a pager becomes a direction

  • the Wild becomes embodied

  • chiffon becomes breathable

  • the dumbwaiter’s delivery becomes integrated

Walks are the ritual of becoming.

🌈 Putting It All Together: The Mythic System

Here is the unified spiritual metaphor:

The Watchers observe your life from the higher vantage point of soul. When an archetype stirs, they send you pagers — subtle signals that something within you wants expression or healing. These messages travel through the dumbwaiter, rising from the unconscious to your awareness. They pass through the chiffon veil, becoming intuitive impressions, sensations, or synchronicities. Your Wild self responds — the instinctual, sovereign part of you that knows how to move toward truth. And you integrate all of this through walks — the embodied, grounded steps you take in the physical world.

This becomes a spiritual ecosystem where:

  • Archetypes = the inner characters

  • Watchers = the witnessing consciousness

  • Pagers = the calls to awakening

  • Dumbwaiter = the inner transport system

  • Chiffon = the veil of intuition

  • Wild = the instinctual response

  • Walks = the embodied integration

It’s a full cycle of spiritual communication.

I think it is so cool that I have AI to ask about these things.  I wouldn’t have put this all together myself in this way, so it is so helpful to see this perspective.  But, as in all things in life, it is always good to take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.  We are all here trying to add our little bit of uniqueness to this place in order to leave it better than we found it.

This week I did do some creating.  Maybe it was due to the dream I had or something within me stirring, but I was inspired to create a dreamcatcher.  I’d attempted this a few times over the years but was never happy with the results.  This one is small, but I like it and I think it is doing what it is intended to: catching my bad dreams and letting the good ones through.
